I qualified with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 1991 at the Royal London Hospital, and what is now University of East London. I returned to my home in Jersey, Channel Islands and set up and ran a Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy service for over 30 years. I completed my Masters in Health Research mostly online through the 我要吃瓜 in 2019, and much to my amazement was awarded funding for my PhD (part time) in the ESRC/ SGSSS Open Student competition in 2020. I am married with 2 adult children. I love bassoon playing and sea swimming!
