She is a Senior Lecturer in Sport based within the Faculty of Health Science and Sport. She is the Director of both the BA (Hons) Sports Studies at Stirling and the Sport International Programme in Singapore and Chengdu, China. She completed her PhD in Sport Psychology at the 我要吃瓜. Her research interests include career transitions in sport, life after sport, and the dual careers of athletes. She also focuses on athletes' career development and management, as well as their welfare and wellbeing. She is actively researching the physical health and mental wellbeing of esports players, and the duty of care in esports.

She coordinates Sport Governance in both Stirling and Singapore and Major Project in Sport Studies for undergraduate students in Singapore. She contributes to different undergraduate and post-graduate modules in sport psychology and sport management. She also supervises both undergraduate and post-graduate students across the programmes.

Research (3)

My main research interest is how to support high-performance athletes both during and after their sporting career. This research interest is associated with the topics of career transitions in sport, life after sport, dual career of athletes, athletes' career development and management, and athletes' welfare and well-being.

My new research interest is about eSports. I am interested in eSports' players' mental well-being, career development and management, career transitions out of eSports, and organisational support for eSports players.
