The social response to Covid-19 is highly relevant to People Who Use Drugs (PWUD) who are at increased risk of acquiring and transmitting the virus through their social drug purchasing and using behaviours which are likely to have changed during the pandemic. Changes to needle exchange, treatment and care services mean PWUD may be at increased risk of harm, transmission, and relapse from recovery. We want to interview PWUD to find out how their behaviours have changed, how this has affected their risk of acquiring or transmitting Covid-19, relapsing back into drug use, and/or having an overdose.
