This project aims to:
- tackle the EDI challenges facing environmental sciences in the context of fieldwork
- bring together academics , HE students, secondary schools and EDI experts to identify and verify potential and current barriers to fieldwork in HE
- create recommendations for the improvement of EDI within fieldwork
- co-produce a field course tackling EDI challenges in collaboration with HE students
- provide new evidence to inform environmental sciences disciplines on how to improve field courses to address EDI in the form of written case studies
