–
Funded by .
This project involves working with 37 school cluster in South East Wales to develop capacity in curriculum development using critical collaborative professional enquiry. The project will take the form of 4 workshops (repeated for a second cohort), along with support from the university for activity in schools. The goals are to: 1] raise the capacity of a group of teachers to act as leaders of the CCPE process; 2] produce some accessible resources to support their work; and 3] supervise, support and evaluate the subsequent cycles of professional enquiry. Dr Drew and Professor Priestley will lead this process, forming a project leadership team that also comprises 2-3 of the Pioneer Teachers who have already undertaken the previous EAS CCPE programme, and who have experience of applying this methodology to their practice.
