A?pratice background in criminal justice social work, including a secondment to the Scottish Government Getting Best Results team. This?was followed by a period of youth justice consultancy, then child protection research and policy development wth Glasgow child protection team.?? Member of Scottish Government?Trafficking and Exploitation Strategy child trafficking group and action area 3 (conditions that foster trafficking) group. Also sit on the National Child Sexual Exploitation Working Group.

Research interests include human trafficking with a particular focus on child trafficking;child sexual exploitation; separated and unaccompnaied children; youth justice / child protection interface.
