Abstract
This paper presents the work carried out in developing a precision, real-time bolus injection and breath-pattern analysis system to study the effect of regional deposition of fine particulate matter (PM) within the human respirator system. This new system computes parameters necessary and injects PM into breath cycles by a process of dynamic breadth pattern analysis and statistical data relating to PM stored under pressure taking into account such factors as agglomeration and aggregation of particles, to achieve a highly controlled delivery of bolus within specified exposure times and intervals.
