Abstract
First paragraph: The purpose of this paper is to examine whether, how far, and in what sense we might say that there has been a Keynesian revolution at the level of methodology. This involves an interpretation of Keynes’s expression ‘the way the world thinks about economic problems’ as referring, not just to the content of economics, but also to the mode of thought and specific methodology employed in addressing that content. It is hard to separate content from methodology; at least here we put the accent on methodology.
