Abstract
Bryan Nugent had a dream of setting up his own sushi manufacturing business called 'The Sushi Company'. Despite many setbacks the business is now trading with over £350,000 invested by a mix of equity funding, banks, and government agencies. However, with a factory now to keep going with orders, the actual process of converting interest to sales is proving more difficult than raising the money and equipping the factory. The main equity funder has now refused to put more money in and Bryan is under severe financial pressure to keep the business going.
