Abstract
Application of winders is normal practice in many underground mines, especially in deep workings. On the other hand, winder accidents are usually serious and entail financial losses. Often, accidents occur due to breaking of winder ropes. Mechanical analyses and stress investigations generated in consequence of loads in rope is important and serious in design, making installation and exploitation of such machines feasible. Building a model that governs on machine and conditions, can be helpful not only for improving the safety but also for estimating other variables such as load, strength etc. Materials science and engineering mechanics are used in modeling and these fore, the model presents for these purposes. Presented model can predict maximum stress that occurred on rope.
